Last week I went to Malta for a week. It was lovely and hot, around 18 degrees Celsius every day. Of course all the locals were bundled up in wooly scarves and hats while I strolled around in a singlet.
We took the public bus everywhere because for €1.50 all day its cheaper than breathing. We went to Marsaxlokk, Qawra, Valletta, Mdina, Ta’Qali, Blue Grotto, Birgu & the three cities, Qrendi, Rabat, Dingli, Mgarr, Pop eye Vilage, Golden bay, and Mellieha. And that isn’t all the places we went to.
It was a decent flight, only 3 hours and I slept the whole way. It was a shame because I was looking forward to watching Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol on the iPad.
We also went to Gozo and went all round that. On one of the day trips we did, the mini driver cleaned his van every spare minute he got. Because of the vigorous cleaning he drove Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and all the kids around Malta for 2 months when they filmed World War Z, he even ate dinner with them. Even one of their kids ripped his seat with a pen, and then Brad Pity bought three seats to make up for it. He also drove Tom Hanks and his daughter around. I was fangirling at this point.
On the flight back we were delayed for 2 hours because the plane broke and we had to change planes. I was dying for the toilet at this point, I really regretted my daily green teas.
